From the Desk of the Regional Director

Happy New Year to all our Penn-Jersey Region FCA Members!

I hope this finds everyone healthy and ready to begin a new year of activities centered around our favorite marque, Ferrari.

Our Penn-Jersey Board had some minor changes: Rich Scheller has been elected as our next Treasurer.  We would like to thank our outgoing Treasurer, Jim Schimmel, as he helped define many procedures and processes to improve our Region’s financial documents. Thanks, Jim!

Jim Schimmel will continue on our Board assisting me with some of the Regional Director duties and he will also bring his judging experience to assist Tim McNair with the Chief Judging duties during our two major Concorso events.  Gary Cohen remains our Regional Secretary and still has many contacts with our National FCA board.

Our Chapter President roles remain the same for 2023.  Our New Jersey Chapter President is Walt Sliwa.  Our Western Pennsylvania Chapter President is Marc Buzzelli and our Eastern Chapter President is Tim McNair.  

Our Penn-Jersey Regional website, www.FCA-PennJersey.org, has been updated for our events in 2023.  Our Pennsylvania Concorso Ferrari event will be held on Sunday, May 21st.  We are excited to have this event at the prestigious Aronimink Golf Club.  Aronimink has been ranked 9th in the top 50 Golf Clubs in America.  It will be great to see our Ferraris roll up on the green grass at this wonderful venue.  Our team is well under way in making this Concorso a truly memorable experience.
